DRACULA

In the evening on an old castle in the Carpathians. Count Dracula greets Jonathan Harker, a young advocate from England who wants to complete the purchase of an estate in London. Harkers stay turns out increasingly weird and terrible. He is able to escape and returns safe to London, b ut Count Dracula also reaches the english metropolis and starts to make trouble there. Lucy Westenra, a young lady of the society, is his first victim, but the vampire is actually looking for Mina, Jonathan Harkers fiancè. Together with the vampire hunter Van Helsing he starts the fight against Dracula. A race against time starts.

The Kasematten as a (Second) scenery and the thunderstorm that gathered, fitted atmospherically very well to the play, which Thomas Borchert gave as Dracula and Uwe Kroeger as Abraham van Helsing as stars of the evening. They have been capable vocally - even when the orchestra rose to fortissimo - and to be convincing. Kroeger as a ready driven vampire hunter put his brokenness also in his voice....
